Are you a spouse member?

All applications for insurance by spouse members of legalsuper are subject to the application meeting the requirements of the insurer.

Death only cover is available to spouse members.

Spouse members can apply for unit based death only cover (including terminal illness), by completion of a personal health statement.

All other insurance conditions for spouse members are the same as the conditions applying to employer-sponsored members except for the start date of cover which is the date of acceptance by the insurer.

For Death only insurance the cost is $1.05 per unit per week, deducted monthly directly from your super balance. 

You can elect to reduce or cancel your insurance at any time by writing to legalsuper.
