Eligibility criteria

To ensure members maintain a diversified mix of investments across their superannuation investment, eligibility criteria must be met prior to investing in this option. You:

- must have a minimum account balance of $10,000;
- can only invest up to 50% of your account balance in the Option, subject to no single stock representing more than 20% of the total account balance (future contributions cannot be invested in this Option);
- must invest the remainder of your account balance in one or a combination of the Fund’s other investment options;
- members can continue to hold shares that cease to be included in the S&P/ASX200 Index;
- members can only give instructions regarding the ASX200 Shares Investment Option on the form and in the manner approved by legalsuper.

If your employer is a stockbroker and you wish to participate in the ASX200 Shares Investment Option, you will need to comply with the Corporations Act 2001, which may require your employer to consent in writing to individual acquisitions and require you to provide copies of confirmations of acquisition to your employer.  A form of consent is available from legalsuper on request.
