Managing income payments

Regardless of your chosen legalsuper pension, you will receive income payments through Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to your personal bank, building society, or credit union account. You are not locked into any payment amount or frequency, and you can adjust your payments throughout the year to suit your requirements.

Choose from the following payment frequencies:

  • Yearly (paid on the 28th of June unless otherwise specified)
  • Half-yearly (paid on the 28th of the relevant month – paid in June & December unless otherwise specified)
  • Quarterly (paid on the 28th of each quarter - March, June, September & December)
  • Monthly (paid on the 28th of each month)
  • Fortnightly (paid according to the schedule below):

Please note that yearly payments are not available in July.

Investment mix

It’s important to review your investment mix during retirement to ensure that you stay on track and meet your retirement savings goals.

Your beneficiaries

By nominating a pension beneficiary you can decide who receives your retirement savings, as your super and pension benefits aren’t automatically included in your estate or Will. The only direct way to leave your super to the beneficiaries of your Will is to let us know these beneficiaries or to nominate one as a binding beneficiary.
