Annual Member Meeting

The Annual Member Meeting gives our members the opportunity to hear our Board and Executives speak about key activities that are happening at legalsuper. Learn about how legalsuper is performing and what our plans are for the year ahead.

legalsuper held its Annual Member Meeting on Thursday 7 December 2023

Before joining the online meeting

Register using the link provided in the email/letter you received from legalsuper, or use the register button on this page.

Click on the registration link, or copy-paste it into your browser. You will then be prompted to provide the following:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address
  • Confirm email address
  • Are you a legalsuper member
  • Submit questions
  • How many participants are attending the meeting with you

Once you complete the registration, you will receive a confirmation email and a Zoom link to our Annual Member Event.

Please ensure you save this email as it will contain the Zoom link you will require to participate in the event.

Downloading the Zoom application

If you've never used Zoom before, you'll need to download the Zoom application. Please follow the instructions on the Zoom Help page.

The following steps apply when you've already downloaded the Zoom application.

Opening Zoom in Google Chrome browser

  1. Open the Chrome browser.
  2. Go to join.zoom.us.
  3. Enter your meeting ID provided by the host/organizer.
  4. Click Join:
  • If this is your first time joining from Google Chrome, you will be asked to open the Zoom desktop client to join the meeting.
  • (Optional) Select the Always open these types of links in the associated app check box to skip this step in the future.
  • In the pop-up window, click Open Zoom Meetings (PC) or Open zoom.us (Mac).

Opening Zoom in Safari browser

  1. Open Safari.
  2. Go to join.zoom.us.
  3. Enter your meeting ID provided by the host/organizer.
  4. Click Join.
  5. When asked if you want to open zoom.us, click Allow.

Opening Zoom in Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer browser

  1. Open Edge or Internet Explorer.
  2. Go to join.zoom.us.
  3. Enter your meeting ID provided by the host/organizer.
  4. Click Join.

Opening Zoom in Mozilla Firefox browser

  1. Open Firefox.
  2. Go to join.zoom.us.
  3. Enter your meeting ID provided by the host/organizer.
  4. Click Join:
  • If this is your first time joining from Firefox, you may be asked to open Zoom or the Zoom installer package.
  • To skip this step in the future, select the Remember my choice for zoom links check box.
  • Click Open Link.

Join the meeting

Click the link that that you received in the confirmation email after you registered.

  1. Click or tap Join.
  2. Enter the meeting by clicking Join or tap Join Meeting.
  3. If prompted, enter your name and email address, then click Join Webinar or tap Join.

Waiting for the host to start the meeting

If the host hasn’t started the meeting, you’ll receive one of the following messages depending on your device type: 

Please wait for the host to start this webinar. OR: Waiting for the host to start this meeting.

If you receive a message showing the date and time of the meeting, check the date and start time of the meeting including the time zone. Make sure to join when the meeting starts.

Using the Q&A (Question and Answer) function

legalsuper members will be allowed to submit questions during the meeting via the Q&A function, which will be answered at the end of the presentation.

To ask a question, enter your question into the Q&A box, then click Send.

Please do not use the Chat or Raise your hand function, during the event.

Leave the meeting 

Click Leave meeting to leave the webinar at any time. If you leave, you can rejoin if the meeting is still in progress, as long as the host has not locked it.
