Important notice – Cyber Attacks

Unfortunately, scams and fraud have become commonplace in today’s world, impacting millions of Australians. That’s why it’s important to stay vigilant and take the appropriate steps to protect yourself.
At legalsuper, we are serious about protecting your information and superannuation benefits. We can confirm the recent Optus and Medibank cyber attacks have not impacted any systems utilised by legalsuper and additional security steps have been introduced to enhance protection.
If you have any concerns about the recent cyber attacks, we can apply additional security measures to protect your account. Our administrator, Link Group is taking precautionary measures by increasing the monitoring of the preventative and detective controls to further protect your personal information.
It is a good idea to regularly update your passwords with a combination of letters, numbers and symbols. Also, be aware of scams and phishing attacks that aim to steal your personal information. Be careful when sharing your personal information , especially when online and don’t click on links attached to an email from an unknown source. Be on the lookout for suspicious mobile phone texts, calls or suspicious contact via social media. If an offer looks “too good to be true” then it is likely to not be true.
