Joel was appointed to the Board on 1 April 2026. Joel is an Industrial Officer/Special Projects Officer at the United Services Union. Previous roles include specialist roles a Solicitor in Commonwealth and NSW Workers’ Compensation at Slater and Gordon Lawyers, where he was an Associate, and at Shine Lawyers, where he was a Senior Solicitor. Joel has a Bachelor of Laws with a Major in International Law and Global Governance from Macquarie University.
