Annual Members’ Meeting 2025

On Thursday, 4 December legalsuper hosted its Annual Members’ Meeting for 2025. Our Chair, Kirsten Mander, Chief Executive Office, Luke Symons and Chief Investment Officer, Andrew Lill, provided key updates on legalsuper’s performance and ongoing activities, sharing a promising outlook for the year ahead.
Some key updates from the meeting include:
- Updates on our investment performance – legalsuper was pleased to report that the MySuper Balanced Option returned a very strong 12.56% for the year ending 30 June 2025, placing legalsuper as the highest-ranked fund in the SuperRatings* performance tables for the year.
- For the 24/25 financial year legalsuper recorded growth in membership of 7.8% - more than three times higher than the industry average of 2.46%.
- The investment fee reduction, which came into effect 1 September, saw a decrease by 11 basis points, from 0.61% down to 0.50% for those members invested in the MySuper Default option.
- That the My Super Balanced Option continues to deliver positive returns in this financial year (25/26) and contribute to the growth in our members’ retirement outcomes. At 30 September 2025 this Option was ranked above median over all time periods.
Members were also able to submit questions prior and during the meeting, those that were unable to be addressed during the meeting have been published in the meeting minutes.
